How is Christmas in Deoria different from the world? Anonymous blog by a student of RBT Vidyalaya Deoria
Ho, Ho! Merry Christmas!" Here we are at Christmas time again. We all know that Christmas is celebrated on 25 December all over the world. Although it is a Christian festival, people from different communities celebrate it with great fervor and enthusiasm.
At our school RBT Purva, Christmas and New year are celebrated together before the winter vacations.
The Christmas cake is cut by the principal and is distributed among all the staff and children. The Santa clause gives blessing to children and distributes the gifts among them lastly, the function is ended with "Jingle bells" song.
In my city Deoria, there is a church where our city people gather together to celebrate this festival. Some elders come in Santa Clause attire and give children gifts and chocolate. The celebration starts with prayers of Jesus Christ and ends with Christmas Carols that touch the hearts of Christians and non-Christians.
